Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. This page explains what we sell or share, and how to opt out.

What we sell or share

Two of our practices may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under these laws:

  • Lead distribution and lead sales. When you submit an importer inquiry through the directory (with your consent at submission), we may share your inquiry with licensed customs brokers matched to your request, and sell your contact details (name, email, phone, company) to a verified licensed customs broker for a fee so they can follow up with you about your request.
  • B2B visitor identification. Third-party tools (RB2B, Apollo.io) may associate your website visit with your professional identity based on IP address or browser signals. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We do not sell data to advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not use your data for cross-site behavioral advertising.

How to opt out

1. Inquiry data (lead distribution & sales)

Email contact@customsbrokerindex.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell Request" from the email address you used on your inquiry. We will:

  • Stop any further distribution or sale of your inquiry and contact details
  • Remove your inquiry from the public homepage feed
  • Confirm completion within 15 business days

Note: brokers who already received your inquiry before your request are independent businesses; you may need to contact them directly to exercise rights over data they hold.
